Pumpkin Picking

Fall Harvest is a special time of year on the farm. When you bring your family and friends, you experience the joys of harvest first-hand. Choose the apple you want right from the tree on which it grew. Pick the pumpkin right off the living vine. Our mission is to put people in 'touch' with their food and this is the prime season.

A Typical Family Day on the Farm

Many families plan to spend most of the day on the farm. They start with the Maize Quest Fun Park, exploring, riding, climbing, jumping, and challenging the mazes together. After the maze fun and a bite to eat from the snack bar, guests hop on our FREE wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. The Pumpkin Express Wagon is an enormous orange wagon pulled by the biggest tractor on the farm. (For some kids, seeing a tractor that big is the highlight of the day!) The Pumpkin Express runs Saturdays & Sundays during regular Maize Quest Fun Park daylight hours.

In the patch, we grow over 10,000 pumpkins and our special pricing means NO pumpkin costs more than $8.00! (Pumpkins are $.50/lb, MAXIMUM charge $8.00 per pumpkin) It's our way of saying "Thanks" for choosing to bring your family to our farm. Besides, who can't use a good deal? After the return wagon ride, many guests decide to continue playing or choose to drive to the apple orchard to pick apples before heading home OR returning AGAIN to the Fun Park for Flashlight Nights!

At Maize Quest, we believe in kid-powered, brain-powered fun. Since we're "off the beaten path", we want you to have as many options for your fall adventure as possible, so your wristband is valid ALL DAY in the Fun Park. You can pick and choose what and when you do activities to customize the day specifically for your family.
